Halloween!!!!

This was the first year that we had Alyssa dress up and participate in Halloween. I wanted to wait until she could have some sort of understanding of what was going on before we put her in a costume and had her beg for candy from the neighbors:) So this year, in honor of her beloved Mickey Mouse Clubhouse show that she demands to watch 24/7, she was Minnie Mouse for Halloween. Her daycare had a party in the afternoon, which I attended, and then had a parade for the kids to walk up and down the street in their costumes. It was a lot of fun and apart from the windy and chilly weather, it was great! When we got home we took Alyssa to a few homes so that she could get the idea of what trick-or-treating was all about. By the end of it she was saying trick-or-treat and then helped daddy hand out candy to the kids that came to the door.
